Regarding Insurance

We do our best to make this easy for you. We do all the research and paperwork. We participate directly in Delta Dental of Rhode Island, Blue Cross Dental, Military Tricare and retiree program, and Met-Life preferred.

We will also accept any other private dental plans for you with the following provisions.

  • Your insurance carrier must pay us directly for covered services. We will process your claim forms and submit them for you.

  • You must provide us with a phone number or benefits booklit which will allow us to verify coverage and to estimate benefits for you. We adheare to the "no surprise" philosophy.

  • All dental work performed is due and payable by the patient regardless of whether the insurance company pays or not. We have a legal obligation to you only. The insurance company has no legal obligation to our office. Any disputes are between you and the insurance company.

  • The A.D.A would like you to know that some insurance companies may send you letters that a certain dentist's fee is "above the usual and customary fee for the area." This is usually the result of outdated data or a sampling of a minimal number of dentists in the area which might include Rhode Island or even the entire New England area. Please rest assured that our fees overall are no higher or lower than the majority of dental offices in the area. We do our best to keep our fees reasonable and affordable.

Cancellations

Kindly give 24 hours notice for changing your appointment as this time is reserved especially for you.  A missed appointment fee may be made if you have more than two no shows or late cancellations without good reason.
